For a period split between two years on and off I had the opportunity to work with our talanted team at GRID to develop the first phase of the wider O2 Finchley Road masterplan. After succesfully winning an open competition to design a community centre extension for the Christ Church West 4 congregation of Stalbans church based in Chiswick. Myself and Colin veitch (Director at GRID Architects) developed the scheme in tandem with the churchs Diocese and volunteer commity for a multipupose community centre pavillion that provided crucial space for the church to expand whilst also creating a viable and ambitious focal point to the Acton Green Common.

While at GRID Architects, I had the opportunity to co-lead the Sedgemere Road project alongside Director Laurence Osborne. I was responsible for coordinating our talented internal team throughout RIBA Stages 0 to 3. The design emerged from collaborative process between Laurence and myself, with a shared goal of delivering a unique piece of architecture that reflects the character of Bexley and contributes meaningfully to London's housing landscape. Our approach was rooted in the local context, aiming to craft a residential scheme that not only tells a compelling narrative but also sets a benchmark for quality and innovation in housing.
